Description
The PR-TE 50 is a bidirectional circular route of about 29.3 kilometres in length, easily accessible from all the municipalities it crosses – Visiedo, Camañas, Argente and Lidón -, recommended for walking, cycling or horse riding. The walking route would take 7 to 8 hours, with an accumulated positive difference in altitude of 306 metres and a low to medium difficulty. It is not recommended for families with small children due to its length, and water is available along the way.The route runs through the high plains known as Llanos de Visiedo, with a landscape structured around a high plateau framed to the west by the Sierra Palomera, to the north by the Sierra de Lidón and to the southeast by the Llanos de Visiedo which descend to the valley of the Alfambra. The predominant landscape is a cereal steppe.
