Acueducto de Camarillas

Made of masonry with three pointed arches, It is less than a meter wide, but the arches have a large span.

This entire architectural structure had a very clear use, as it was to bridge the existing unevenness of a ravine in order to allow the passage of water to the town centre. Ceramic pieces placed at the top of the structure allowed for this use. There were also intermediate elements (stone chambers) that ensured adequate maintenance.

These ceramic remains of the pipes can still be seen in some areas, as well as the remains of a stone chamber, although they are very deteriorated.

It is one of the few remaining examples of this magnitude in the province.
