Ermita de la Virgen del Consuelo. Camañas
The Virgen del Consuelo Hermitage is one of the few examples of what must have been medieval architecture in Teruel, where a very rural Romanesque style was mixed with Gothic-Mudejar elements. The roof of this temple and that of the hermitage of Santa Quiteria in Argente are the only ones known in the province of Teruel from the medieval period that are decorated. It is also one of the few temples of Romanesque origin in the province of Teruel and the only construction that remains complete from the outbuildings of the old castle. It was probably built as a chapel of the fortress, and later became a parish church until the current church was built.
