NATURAL HERITAGE

El Pinar mountain.

Pico de San Cristobal where you can see beautiful views.

Routes:

Royal Road Route (Jorcas-Cedrillas)
It runs through beautiful landscapes from the neighbouring village of Jorcas, passing through the villages of Ababuj and Monteagudo del Castillo, to the village of Cedrillas.

It is a hiking trail to be done on foot, enjoying the views and letting yourself be surprised at every step.

It is of medium difficulty.

Its total length is 22 km, and the difference in altitude reached is 175 metres.


The route from Jorcas to Monteagudo del Castillo follows the PR-TE-45, and from the latter village to Cedrillas, it follows the PR-TE-8.

Route of the viewpoints. It reaches Cedrillas from Corbalán and continues towards Monteagudo del Castillo. There is an abundance of elevated places with spectacular panoramic views to enjoy from the established lookout points.

HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

   

Church of Our Lady of the Angels, 16th century. Gothic Renaissance. It has the typical Gothic floor plan of the Crown of Aragon, with a single nave covered with a star-shaped ribbed vault, side chapels between buttresses and a polygonal chancel. The Renaissance façade is divided into two sections, with three niches in the upper section. The tower has three masonry sections and hardly stands out from the church.

Hermitage of the Virgen del Pilar, 18th century. Built in masonry and covered with a half-barrel vault.

Wall and Gate of Las Eras. S. Xll and Xlll, Only the remains of the wall and a pointed arched gateway are preserved.

Castle of Monteagudo. S. Xll and Xlll. Located on the top of a hill, its wall occupied the entire summit. Only the remains of a tower and part of the masonry walls are preserved.

Manor Houses, such as the one located in the Calle Mayor, the 17th century house of the Lozanos.
