NATURAL HERITAGE
Cedrillas has a very varied fauna, with numerous species of birds and mammals such as wild boar, mountain goats, rabbits, hares, etc. Being located between two mountain ranges, Cedrillas has a great mountain relief, which contrasts with the areas of the town centre, where there is an abundance of cultivated fields and pastures where numerous farmhouses used to be located.
Source of the river Mijares. A place of great interest, both for its biodiversity and for the quality of its landscape; it is also one of the leisure areas of the village, as it has a leisure area with a picnic area.
El Rebollar
El Chaparral. It is located above the source of the River Mijares. It has impressive views.
Routes:
Route of the Camino Real (Jorcas-Cedrillas)
It belongs to the network of short distance hiking trails between mountain ranges and runs through beautiful landscapes from the neighbouring village of Jorcas through the villages of Ababuj and Monteagudo del Castillo to the village of Cedrillas. It is a hiking trail to be done on foot, enjoying the views and letting yourself be surprised at every step. It is of medium difficulty. Its total length is 22 km, and the difference in altitude reached is 175 metres.
The route from Jorcas to Monteagudo del Castillo follows the PR-TE-45, and from the latter village to Cedrillas, it follows the PR-TE-8.
Route of the source of the river Mijares. This route runs from the village of Cedrillas to the source of the river Mijares, in a linear route of about 7.11 km. one way and a difference in altitude of 160m. With a low difficulty, it can be a route to enjoy walking, cycling or even reach the recreational area of the picnic area by car, and continue the walk to the source of the river.
Route of the three kingdoms .(Tres Reinos) Route of the viewpoints. Reach Cedrillas from Corbalán and continue towards Monteagudo del Castillo. There are many places with spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding area, which can be enjoyed from the observation points that have been set up.

HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE
Church of El Salvador. It has a typical Levantine Gothic floor plan, with a single nave with chapels between the buttresses and a polygonal apse. The vault is of star-shaped ribbed vaulting. The façade is Renaissance with columns on the sides and a niche above the architrave. The tower was completed around 1890 with a neo-Mudéjar finial, with an Islamic-style tunnelled arch.
Hermitage of Santa Quiteria. Located in a beautiful spot in the village, near the river, where a recreational area has been set up. It was built in masonry and has a very steep gabled roof with buttresses.
Hermitage of Loreto. This is one of the Loreto hermitages in the region.
Hermitage of El Salvador. S.XVl. Also known as El Santo. It is built in stone and has a nave covered with star-shaped ribbed vaulting. Next to it is the fountain in the square.
Cedrillas castle It occupies the base of a hill overlooking the town. It is a walled enclosure where the primitive town once stood. Three towers and the base of the wall are preserved. It is currently being restored.
Cedrillas Town Hall, 15th century, has two floors; on the lower floor is the market separated by an octagonal pillar. The new Town Hall is next door and has a coat of arms dating from 1982 on its façade.
Cedrillas Fountain from the 15th century. A fountain with two spouts located in the town’s main square, next to the El Salvador hermitage. It has a square floor plan and a lowered arch, and inside it there is a coat of arms with the date 1569 carved on it.
FESTIVALS AND TRADITIONS
San Antón, the weekend closest to 17th January. The bonfires of San Antón are traditional as well as “el trance”.
Santa Quiteria, 22 May. The pilgrimage takes place on foot to the hermitage, while the joys of the saint are sung. After the meal, the Town Hall invites to coffee and drinks, which are enjoyed in groups before starting to play “calva”, (a traditional game among shepherds in which stones and tiles are used).
San Salvador, 6th August. Normally the first weekend in August the fiestas in honour of San Salvador are held; several days full of popular events, orchestras and bulls with bulls on a stake, as well as the traditional popular race.
The Virgen del Pilar, on 12 October. A weekend full of atmosphere, music and bullfighting. These are the members’ fiestas.
ARCHAEOLOGY
Site of Talayuela, located on an isolated hill on the right bank of the river Mijares. Also from the Iberian period, the Castillo site, which has yielded mainly Iberian and Roman coins.

FAIRS AND MARKETS
The october fair, the most popular, is held on the first weekend of October. It is an agricultural, livestock and industrial fair, which has been held since 1892, one of the 4 most active fairs in Aragon and one of the 22 most important in the country. As a complement to the animal auctions, a technical conference on livestock farming is held.
